By IIT Bus:
IIT Mandi's shuttle buses ply regularly between Mandi and Kamand. The bus route starts at IIT Mandi North/South campuses and ends at Mandav Block, bus stand, Mandi - the transit campus of IIT Mandi.

Taxis are stationed outside Mandi main bus stand 24 x 7. The cost of a one-way trip to the IIT campus is about Rs. 900/-
By HRTC Bus:
Himachal Road Transport Corporation/Local buses also ply between Mandi and Kamand. Please note that these buses sometimes can be crowded.
Buses ply between both the campuses every 15 and 30 minutes on weekdays and weekends.

From ISBT Kashmere Gate (platforms 6-8), Delhi, you can catch buses towards Manali or Mandi. Buses range from ordinary to deluxe to AC. Visit hrtc.gov.in for details.
By Train:
Travel by train to Kiratpur Sahib (Delhi-Una Himachal express, Train no. 14553). It takes around 3.5 hours from Kiratpur to Mandi by road.
By Bus/Taxi:
Buses to Mandi are available at Sector 43 bus stand, Chandigarh. The road distance is ~165 km, covered in ~6 hours by bus and ~3.5 hours by taxi.
By Air:
Chandigarh airport is ~165 km away. It takes ~5 hours to reach IIT Mandi by road.
