FACULTY

Current Research

1. Interested in physics at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN and/or RHIC/Future EIC at BNL to study nuclear matter under extreme conditions and to explore physics beyond the Standard Model. Of special interest, keen to
2. Heavy Ion Physics, in order to determine the basic properties of the matter created in heavy-ion collisions, the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), and to study the nature of the fundamental constituents of matter and their interactions.
3. Heavy Flavour Physics (W & Z): Scaling of hard processes with the number of binary nucleon-nucleon collisions, investigate initial-state effects, study of nuclear modification of the parton distribution functions (PDFs) and Study of isospin asymmetries of the colliding systems.
4. BSM Physics: Search for exotic resonance
5. Phenomenology in QCD Phase transitions and Critical Point search
6. Detector Hardware Development: GEM, RPCs, MPGD based tracking detector. Particularly interested in pursuing detector technologies that have multidisciplinary application. Strongly foster interdisciplinary research and development.
