TITLE : Stories from Clemson Nano-Bio Lab

The Clemson Nano-Bio Lab focuses on multidisciplinary research, intertwining condensed matter, spectroscopy, and biophysics. We have varied interests in energy, photonics, Raman spectroscopy, nonlinear optics, nano-biophysics, and biosensors. This talk offers an insightful overview of the lab's innovations, emphasizing our adventures into quantum capacitance in batteries and supercapacitors, passive time-reversal symmetry breaking in 2D heterostructures, triboelectric nanogenerators and novel biosensing methodologies. Time permitting, I will also present our explorations into the ensemble interpretation and foundations of quantum mechanics.
