TITLE : Quantum circuit model of black hole evaporation with tunable semi-causality violation
ABSTRACT :
I will discuss a simple four-qubit quantum circuit model of black hole evaporation and explore the consequences of violating the semi-causality condition, allowing information to flow from the black hole interior back to the exterior. To implement the semi-causality violation, we introduce a parametrized controlled-unitary gate that allows us to continuously tune the amount of information flowing back from the black hole interior across the horizon. I will show how this semi-causality violation changes the entanglement structure and information recovery during evaporation, using von Neumann entropy, mutual information and entanglement negativity. I will also discuss the residual correlations that remain at late times and their possible implications for the endpoint of black hole evaporation.
