Dr. Bindu Radhamany
Professor
School of Physical Sciences
Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi
Welcome to the School of Physical Sciences. Our mission is to establish an environment to inculcate independent thinking towards a sustainable society. To achieve this, we will take the best efforts to foster a culture of embracing diversity through mutual respect and support towards individual and collective growth. We aim at producing well trained human resources as future scientists and engineers. Our 19 bright faculty members along with over 75 research scholars explores physics of atoms, molecules, soft matter, condensed matter, quarks, dynamics of black holes and about the early universe; using state-of-the-art experimental and high-performance computing facilities.
We run teaching programs for undergraduate, post graduate and research students. Our teaching programs give a flavour of research to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the early stage. Many of our alums have made us proud with their outstanding academic and research achievements.
