TITLE : Black holes in Holography

ABSTRACT :

After completing a Bachelor's degree in electronics from IIT Madras, Dr. Krishnan shifted to physics and completed his Ph.D. in theoretical high energy physics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. After postdoctoral fellowships at the Solvay Institute in Brussels and SISSA, Trieste, he is currently permanent faculty at the Center for High Energy Physics in the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His research interests are broad, but centered around string theory.
